Introductory Statement: The Loyal Nine was created in 1765. It started as a bunch of artisans and shopkeepers fed up with the Stamp Act. Eventually, this group became known as the Sons of Liberty. Consisting of our forefathers, they brought about the American Revolution. In the year 2003 this name took on new meaning in the fight against the Patriot Act. Re-starting in Huntington, NY, The Loyal Nine is quickly spread throughout the entire nation. The Loyal Nine holds no political affiliation what so ever. It is nether conservative or liberal; there is no ideology other then preserving human freedom. Over 200 years ago The Loyal Nine defeated the Stamp Act, now it is the Patriot Act’s turn.
